Saucy Zucchini
This recipe didn't really start to take shape until I added the avocado. It gave the sauce a lovely creamy texture.
1 cup sun dried tomatoes (measure out before soaking)
1 avocado
1 TBS extra virgin olive oil
1TBS basil (dried) I would have used fresh, but didn't have any at the time.
1tsp celtic sea salt
1tsp oregano
5 small garlic cloves
5 apricots (dried)
10 small zucchini (not bicycle pump sized)
2 cups of water (for soaking dried fruit)
Soak dried tomatoes and apricots over night ( 8-12 hours) in water. It won't matter if you soak them both in the same container because both ingredients are going into the same recipe. DO NOT throw out liquid left over from soaking tomatoes and apricots you will need it when mixing ingredients in blender. Put tomatoes, apricots, avocado, and olive oil in blender and mix together adding half the water that was set aside from soaking. Then add garlic, salt, basil and oregano and add rest of liquid from soaking as you go. Blend until smooth.
Shred zucchini lengthways (to give it more of a spaghetti like appearance) pour sauce over zucchini as you would with traditional spaghetti. Serve and enjoy!

If you are serious about aromatherapy,this book is a great resource. It is easy to follow and is perfect for the beginner and serious aromatherapist. Contains recipes for skin and body care,and gives a fully detailed description of many of the common essential oils, their uses, and cautions.

Image by loswl via Flickr Eating foods as close to how they are found in nature is not a guarantee of a longer physical life; it is however, quiet possible that that consuming these foods will increase the quality of that life. Good nutrition is vital to how well the body functions. The body cannot ,and will not operate as well if what is eaten does not have the proper nutritional value. By consuming things that are lacking nutritional power, the body is forced to run on empty and susceptibility to disease increases because weakened body cannot function well enough to defend against organisms that it would other wise be able to overcome.
Although we live in a world that has been cursed because of man's sin, God still has provided a a way(and ways) for us to thrive physically and enjoy and rejoice in our existence on this planet. Good nutrition is just one of the ways this can be accomplished. Our modern way of living has turned our eyes to man's "improvements" ( By this I do not mean that every one of man's inventions is wrong, I am simply saying that we have taken it far to far and this has has made us forget the simple things like what has been provided for us to take care of our bodies through natural means).
Yes, these are only my words, but look in the scriptures and find out if what I say is true. Start with Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." This is the first fact of our physical existence. We should honor this by eating as many foods that are as close to how they are found in nature as we possibly can. We must forget all the things we consume that only appeal to our gluttony and hold no nutritional value for our bodies.

Bath Time!!!
The first ingredient for a bath is water. (I use water from our shower head because that is the only place I can get water that is filtered).
I put essential oils in it to match the effect I need to have. If I need to be energized then I'll use a few drops grapefruit or peppermint. If I need to be calmed down, then I choose lavender, chamomile, frankincense, or ylang-ylang. If my body needs a little cleansing I choose ginger,cypress, grapefruit, and tea tree.
When taking a cleansing bath, I usually put about a half-a-cup of himalayian pink salt or dead sea salt in the bath water. The salt helps to draw out the impurities clogging up my body and makes for a more relaxing bath experience.

The Life of Essential Oils
I find that as I gain more understanding, and become more in tune with what my body is telling me in regard to my physical wellbeing I can sense the craving my mind, emotions and body has for these oils. It is the same intense craving that I for the sun in the dead of winter, except that these oils are individually carry some quality of the sun (lavender essential oil is quite different in its chemical structure than frankincense, although they may have some of the same chemicals but in different quantities. Each chemical in the essential oil is taken from the energy of the sun's light and rays). The same love I have for the sun and the plants these essential oils are derived from has transfered to the oils themselves. An understanding, not simply of knowledge, but one of the nature of the oils the essence of the vital life force they portray. Each one has a different life pulse whether it be slow soothing, and calming or quick energizing, and uplifting.
